Greece combines an autochthonous Muslim Minority (concentrated in the region of Thrace)with historical presence in the country, with an influx of immigrants over the last decades. In Greece, incidents involving the hijab are still relatively few and public debate usually stems from incidents in other countries, stereotypes regarding the Muslim religion, and the world-wide state of affairs.
